聂和民,1978年生于湖南,2009年获新加坡国立大学化学与生物分子工程博士学位,2010-2012年在纽约哥伦比亚大学医学中心从事博士后研究,2012年被聘为湖南大学教授、博士生导师。2013年起担任中国生物医学工程学会组织工程与再生医学分会理事会青年委员,2015年获“湖南省自然科学杰出青年"基金,2017年被聘为湖南大学“岳麓学者”,2017年起担任《Current Smart Materials》编委、湖南省生物材料学会理事、湖南省及长沙市医疗器械行业协会专家。长期致力于生物材料、细胞治疗、再生医学领域的研究工作,以第一作者或通讯作者在Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews、Biomaterials、Journal of Controlled Release、ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces、Journal of Materials Chemistry B、Biotechnology and Bioengineering等杂志上发表了20余篇论文(引用次数超过1500,H-index=13, H10-index=14),参与了五本英文学术专著的编纂工作,并承担多个英文SCI期刊的审稿工作。

Prof. Nie received his PhD from the National University of Singapore (with Prof. Chi-Hwa Wang) in 2009. He had worked at Columbia University in the City of New York as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist (with Prof. Jeremy J. Mao) before joining Hunan University in 2012 as a full professor (Yuelu Scholar). He currently serves as assistant dean of HNU College of Biology and director of Bionanotechnology and Tissue Engineering Institute of HNU. He was elected as a senior member for the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering (CSBME) in 2013, and has since served as a youth committee member in the branch of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. His current research interest includes biomaterials, cell therapy and regenerative medicine. Besides his publications in high-level journals, Prof. Nie is active in review works for various journals and has also participated in the preparation of 5 Biomedical Engineering books.
